A blast from the past! Takes me RIGHT back to the lunch counter at the Woolworth's on 82nd Street in Jackson Heights! On the way back home from JHS 145, or in the middle of a hard day's shopping 
at Field's and Clark's, there was nothing better than a big iced tea, or iced cawfee when we were a little older, at the Woolworth's counter! I remember that they had red balloons once in a while - you chose one, popped it, and got a discount - or sometimes if you were REALLY lucky, a freebie food item.
