I even "went" upstate and circled Ballston Lake - the little gravel "road" where our old summer house stood/stands (it's either been replaced or extensively remodeled - I'm betting on replaced) next to the Lakeview Inn is still gravel, and still peters out into fields and woods after maybe 75 yards - surprising!
The only place I've lived that isn't mapped is outside Marietta, GA. The commercial street is mapped, but not the residential area. I think it has to do with the covenants and deed restrictions in the area, which were pretty strict when we lived there.
