Danny, the reason is perfectly clear. YOU ALREADY HAVE A CLASS THAT A PRO STOCKER CAN RUN, IT IS B/A!!!!! Why can't run run B/A? You are running it now anyway. If you want to run 500" then make the car weigh 2700. Even if the index is fair, WHY DO YOU NEED ANOTHER CLASS! You are not a any disadvantage in B/A. Thank you Ed Bennett for posting that earlier response. Look how fast he was a few years ago. Brad Klein did it, Randy Jones and Hans Mogensen did it several years ago. You, Dom and John and any other Pro Stock car can too if they wish. Ed made an excellent point. What if someome justs tests engines for Morgan, Schimdt, etc and crushes the index? You guys will be right back in B/A. If you are in B/A now, why do you need this class anyway? The are bigger issues in Comp than this. Open the rulebook, pick a class, build a car for that class, and work on your stuff to make it faster. NO NEW CLASSES! The system works so leave it be.
