I am still unclear as to why so many people are against this class. I keep seeing responses saying, "we don't want a new class with a new index". The fact is we all know what a pro stock is capable of running so I'm sure an index can be created that is extremly fair. Also, I've seen the posts about "what if a big team came to run or leased a test motor and blasted the index", well so be it then. I'm sure many more people would come watch a pro stock team blast an index then a bunch of cars lifting at 1000 feet loosing races to save an index. Set the index fair, make the teams that choose to run this class work their ass off to competitive and leave it at that. With the index being fair, who out there wouldnt love the chance to race against a pro stock car and take the win light? Comp is a technology based class and if classes arent added then car counts will probably continue to drop. Might as well try something now before comp turns into a 16 car field at every race. Disclaimer: Not directed at anyone in particular so please do not take offense and begin another playground fight. Thanks
