Posted by Ray Vierheller Forgive my delay in response, get this...I was in Div I at Virginia attending the national event with our new comp combination. We put this car together in 2 weeks and had it ready to race. Does anyone see the irony in the fact that someone tells me to come to races where they are at and show my face? We decided to take the rest of the season off to revamp our comp deal and we still attended more D1 national events than you did in your own division! In a nutshell, we're not hard to find. But I doubt we'll ever cross paths because I figure the only place we'll see you is below the dotted line on the Q sheet (event with your 30+ barometer) or under someone's desk at NHRA complaining about how your 10 year old stuff won't make the cut. If it wasn't for Eckel and Bozic, I'd be on the phone right now mortgaging the house to bribe Steve Kent and Joey Tanksley to show you how soft your class really is and ruin it when they run 6.80. If you want to talk smack, bring it on...I've got an arsenal of sarcasm that makes Dr. House look like Mr. Rogers. But I'd rather you bring your stuff to the track, out-qualify us and kick our ass in eliminations and I'll shut my mouth. Pretty soft challenge really since we have yet to set the world on fire...but at least we're there and we don't complain and beg for our own class with a soft index. Ray Vierheller
