If you look through the rule book the weight breaks are staggered in 1 lbs/inch incremenents except for a few expections. B/A being one of these. I'll use our combo as an example being a 453 cubic inch motor weighing 2450lbs in b/a. If we want to run A/A at 3.4 lbs/inch we would have to meet the 1540 lbs minimum or the 2940 lbs minimum in C/A. Those are both unrealistic. I'm not trying to stir the pot and whine about our class now, we have had a very competitive combo this season and will even more so with our new car and engine. I suppose I just see the window of opportunity that NHRA gave to all the super mod cars, blower cars, imports, etc. This class will bring in guys that dont traditionally run comp and from what I've read over the last year on here is so many racers are concerned with fan appeal rather than participant appeal....
