NHRA "I think" has never been in this situation before---meaning a National Championship could very well be decided by either their action or inaction regarding the "Zero points policy"---They did give Bo a ZERO as far as points BUT they are/have not counted the Indy LODRS as one of the FIVE LODRS Divisional races.If you look at page 241 the only salvation Bo has if they do in fact disallow the points from the Indy LODRS race Bo at a minimum must win one of the five remaining National races he enters since he is maxed out on Divisionals,AND Bo can claim points at ONLY one of those races. That is if Sal does not race any more this year. But,Sal ALSO has one National left.
Lotsa bragging rights as well as the $$$$$ involved for the Comp Championship going on here!!
