I found out about the schedule from a post by Dan Fletcher on the classracer.com forum. That is why i emailed Len. it turns out that Todd Logan emailed Len yesterday expressing the same concern I had and got back an email to the same effect. So in fact, I was way behind others in speaking up and Len had already spoken to Graham Light about the change.
