Lew: We already are... Just at different levels...WE ARE inside the fence... Using the same analogy,we graze where we are allowed to (try shooting a deer without a license)...There are very few who can grow they're own gardens large enough to survive off, so we go to "their" markets just as the cattle at the dairy eat what is given to them...
Your statement"we all might be close to living like that" just shows how in the dark most are and how cleverly that fence is concealed...The fence is invisible to most...Many many children are growing up thinking milk and food originate in stores...This indicates the fence is getting even smaller...
Don't take my word on it, just look around...
