Petell ran a recall against Gary Hollis and when it was over and he was supposed to turn in his paperwork with all the signatures he said he had collected, Petell said he didn't have any signatures to turn in. Some recall or did Petell lie? Obviously, he and his followers didn't collect enough signatures to get his recall to a vote. Then Petell was on a town board committee and he was so out of line that they had to throw him off the committee. Now the town board makes it a point to let everyone know Jim Petell is in no way associated with the town board. And just last month there were articles in the local newspapers reporting that Petell was convicted of threatening to kill a man who lives here in Pahrump because of the closure of the dry lake to shooters. Also Petell was on television talking about how he is being falsely accused of cheating a local casino out of money. With Petell behind this recall, you have to take a real long look at what these nutcases are trying to sell.
With Jim Patell involved in this recall, then something has to be way wrong. No way I would get behind anything Jim Petell is peddling much less sign his recall.
