The kids dad was UFCW for 28 years. The insurance benefits were the tops, Pacific Care, no copays, no charge for meds, BUT it was an HMO and if you knew you had to see an OBGYN, you had a chain of doctors to go to FIRST then a referral to top it all off!!! it was a pain in the butt. If you had a very sore throat and knew you had to see an ENT, you would first have to see the primary doc who would make a recommendation to see either the ENT or another specialist before you could see the ENT, it would take a month or longer so by the time you DID see the ENT, the sore throat was gone, either that or by that time it killed you...
I dont know who the president of the UFCW is, but am willing to make a wager that the name is hispanic...
