actually, if you are independant or non partisian or even libertarian you cannot vote for major positions in the primaries, your ballot is very limited. That pisses me off, because I have no say on presidential candidates in the primaries.
And you are correct, in the general election I can vote for whom ever I wish... but usually I wish other people were running!!! :D
