I think they are looking at nuclear waste to look at how they reclaim and reuse the plutonium.
I think that there is a certain need for this information however if I were in a position to make a suggestion I would suggest that the county doesn't need to get into the business of reclaimation, recycling and reprocessing of the hazardous material, that we should bring in a company from France, Sweeden, China or whereever they are already doing this process. Contract with them to build a plant, lease them the land and charge them a fee for all they process.
Make sure they make a profit and the county gets done what needs to be done. Besides the waste doesn't belong to the county anyway, it belongs to the federal government!!!
Commissioner should make trips to Carson as well as DC however I think there should be a consensus from the whole board about the trips and what the reason for the trip is.
Have you ever wondered about all these committees that the commissions are liasion to and how we NEVER hear anything about what is going on. I do.
