I am tired of watching movies in which the hero becomes twisted and then mentally disturbed and dangerous. Yet, isn't it the truth that those of us who try to brave society are often pursued by the same sort of violent elements like those who came after the Hulk. And, no wonder it is that we "explode" when we are cornered, beaten down, threatened with cells and shots and sentenced to mental institutions.
The media reflects the soul of its people. And so it is, that we mentally ill are viewed as animals and beasts and Hulks. If we were viewed as humans then the acts against us would suddenly become injustices. The normies can't have that can they.
So who is violent? The one with the guns and the sticks? Is it the mentally ill person crying into the darkness while being pursued by the likes of all this? Can the Hulk tell us the answer we are seeking or will he fall inches short of the reality? Will this society of normies ever allow him to speak?
Let us have justice and be fairly represented. I urge writers and actors to consider the outcome of their productions. To further abuse a totally misunderstood group of people, and to further such abuse by gross misrepresentation of the mentally ill should be criminal. An end to Psycho and the other such films that only further the myth of violence linked to mental illness.
