Phil, I am not familiar with that area and I cannot help you out, but here is a link to the Treasure Depot website and it has a list of forums you might ask your question on.
It will depend on what type of detecting you will do. General metal detecting use the Metal detecting link on that site, civil war type detecting you might use the Relic forum link, or beach detecting you might use the Surf & Sand forum link.
I am sorry I cant help more, but I do hope this helps answer your question.
