Quebec makes about 75 to 80% of the world production. It comes from the sugar maple tree. The sap is collected in late winter and early spring and boiled down. It takes about 20 litres/quarts to make 1 litre/quart of syrup. Hope you and your family enjoy it! Regards + HH Bill
