Rules of the Board #1: Name/Handles: Choose whatever name/handle you wish, but under NO circumstances will you intentionally impersonate another poster or impersonate a Creator. #2 LANGUAGE: Please keep profanity to an absolute minimum. You can find other words to get your point across without resulting to profanity. The purpose of this is that some people might find certain words offensive even though you might not. #3 INSULTS: There is no need to insult anyone so please treat others as you wish to be treated. If asked to stop a certain discussion and it continues, then matters may be taken further if needed. #4 OFF-TOPIC MESSAGES: Please keep these to a minimum if any at all. The purpose of the message board is to discuss Basement Comics and Amyrl Entertainment related comics. #5 HATE MESSAGES: Racist, sexist, homophobic, anti-religious or any other types of "hate" messages or sentiments will not be tolerated. #6 BANNINGS: The moderator reserves the privilege of banning offenders from the board, temporarily or permanently, without warning. You may be warned or you may not, at the moderator's discretion. Bannings and lesser disciplinary actions will NOT be discussed on the board nor will they be discussed with anyone but the disciplinee. Such matters are between the offender and the moderator and none of anyone else's business. If anyone has a question about their banning they can e-mail the moderator for explanations. #7 FAN FICTION: Due to certain legal problems that FanFic can cause for other posters they are not allowed. This also includes posting solicitations for a FanFic. You are more than welcome to post them online at another website and post a link in your posts to the FanFic story though. But please let others know that the link is a FanFic link. #8 NO HOT LINKING: Hot-linking means to take somebody's image and to link directly to it, thus using that site's bandwidth. This is often done in regards to upcoming solicitations posted on various comic book news sites. Many sites frown down on hot-linking, as do we, as it's stealing bandwidth, and that costs money. Likewise, we do not allow you to upload images here and to link to images here from your website. Any posts found hot-linking from other websites will be deleted upon sight. Any posters attempting to hot-link from us will be banned. If you want to show an image to other posters, then please use a link to the image. #9 MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER: Have fun! And stop being a lurker all the time (if you are).
