My Gillet is also my brickwall. I have Evaline Ordelia Gillett, born 6 Jul 1843 in Freehold, Warren Co., PA, died 11 Apr 1879 in Madison, NE. She married David Brewer on 21 Sep 1862 in China, Lee Co., IL. They had seven children; Jonas, Joseph, James, Eunice, Elson, Reuban and Richard. I know nothing about her parents, or how she ended up in Illinois. David Brewer was from Massachusetts, and his father had moved to Illinois around 1850. David and Evaline moved from Illinois to Iowa, then on to Nebraska. Of their children's names, all are Brewer family names except for Elson and Reuban. Maybe they are Gillett family names? Any help or leads would be great!
