I am interested in finding the parents of the 1st Truman GILLETT who was married to Phebe Sliter. I am up against the "wall" on that one. I also have researched Moses Kinyon GILLETT and according to the Union Civil War records his first name was Maxon. I have verified this in the 1860 Federal census for Kansas. During the War he was a musician and he died in Oklahoma on 1912. Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Hans Waagen
