I am searching for any info on Amos Gillet, b. 1765, d. 1807, in Farmington, Hartford, CT, and his son, Amos, b. 1807, same place. Amos, Sr. m. 1)Almira Hart, 1791, and 2)Esther Bishop, 1799.
Almira d. April, 1799 & Amos m. his 2nd wife later that same year. Children of first marriage are: Lena, Esther, Temperence, and Abisha. I only have info on Abisha, b. abt. 1793. He migrated to Trumbull County, OH, before 1833. Children of 2nd marriage are: Almira, Susannah (d. at 4yrs) and Amos.(born one month after father died) Particulary intersted in wills, birth records, and if Esther remarried, etc. Amos, Jr. migrated to Farmington, Trumbull County, OH, c. 1837. He m. 1835, Eleanor Clarkson Miller, in Hartford, CT. Their first son, Lucius, b. 1836, CT; Horace, b.1838, Harriet, b.1843, Elbert, b. 1844, Mary A., b. 1849, and Martin Bushnell, b. 1853, all born in Farmington, Trumbull County, OH.
