Have data on Joseph Gillett, born 5 Nov 1756 at Lyme, CT back to 1549 documented in 2 different books. One has a William as his last child - no dates. I also have data on William Wilshire Shadrack Gillett, born 2 May 1808 in Lyme, New London, CT - children, etc. I have an email from a lady linking her ggrandmother through Elmer, Orlando, William Wilshire Shadrack, Joseph, etc. back to 1549. This is the only documentation I have on Joseph being the father of William Wilshire Shadrack Gillett.
