Margaret - I just received your snail-mail today - how kind of you to write! Of course, I remember uncle Leonard now and I remember that aunt Ada had flaming red hair. As I recall they only had one child, a son named Stephen, Jr. - don't know what happened to him. I believe Uncle Leonard died in a drowning accident in the late 1950's - never found out what happened to Ada or their son. My father, Stephen E. Gillette died in 1981. He had three daughters by three differnt wives. Gail Gillette who now lives in California (she is the eldest). Her mother's name was Elvira. Elvira died in the mid-1980's. Middle child is me (natural mother was Betty Calo of Harvey, Illinois(mother Minnie Calo, father, Sandy Calo - both now deceased). My mother was killed in a car accident shortly after I was born. Stephen E. then narried Eleanor Jones of Michigan and my youngest sister Stephanie Gillette was born of that marriage in 1961. Eleanor and Stephen E. were divorced in the mid-60's and last I heard Eleanor was living on the streets of upstate New York (she had a drinking problem for a number of years). Daughter Stephanie has two teenagers and is a practicing physician in Big Fork, MN.
