Masco's Home Furnishings Group is an expanded full-line furniture company comprised of the Drexel Heritage, Lineage and Frederick Edward brands.
In 1956, Drexel purchased Heritage Furniture, a company founded in 1932 and based in High Point, North Carolina. This created the company we know today as Drexel Heritage Furniture Industries. Note that Heritage furniture was of consistently higher quality than Drexel, more handcrafted with superior materials. When you find a piece of furniture marked "Heritage" this normally indicates it is pre-1963.
