10.5 60ft times

Hi any help with this ? would be appreciated we have a 5.0 mustang mini tubbed with ladder bars they are 34"long maybe too long not sure 57%front weight car weighs 3030 ready to run weve run 8.17 at 174 with a 1.25 60ft we have major traction probs as when blower and convertor hit 7200 seems to annahilate tires all the time we've been told to put shorter ladder bars in the car mount them down low if anybody is running a setup like this out there and is having success your input would be appreciated thanks for your time Dan.
