Shaner's 1&2,
First off, I'd like give a warm welcome back to Shaner Jr. after his extended 7-day vacation from the board....
Now in all seriousness:
I don't think anyone here would care if you had a record or not. If that were the case, as with anyone, that's personal and I don't come here to read about that stuff. What people here do care about is the mindless waste of web space you and "Shaner Sr... Dennis", whoever he is, have used with your bickering and how difficult it has become to navigate through postings of actual information and arguing. Don't get me wrong, your constructive and helpful posts are welcomed with open arms, but perhaps you and "Shaner Sr." should both consider taking your bickering to a private message session or e-mail (a feature that *surprise* the ProBoards offers!). This would be a great board, as it previously was in the early 2000's, had our fearless leader, Bill, not had to leave for such an extended period of time due to an unfortunate illness. It was getting bad before then, but has greatly gotten worse since. People have just been able to say whatever they want to with no repercussions or banishment. (HENCE why the ProBoards were created...)
It's pretty concerning over the years to have come in to contact with quite a few people who have left the boards here because of the immaturity present at times. I think the community has lost out on a lot of great historical information and perhaps opportunities to preserve items of interest because this board has chased people away and nobody takes it seriously. (I sure haven't in a long time now...)
I give you credit for mentioning in another posting that you contributed to some of the negative talk, however, it probably isn't a good idea to publicly address the entire board as "fagots" and tell us that WE cause the negative talk. Would you walk into an unfamiliar bar and do that? Most of the old heads here are pretty easy going until some new person comes in and causes a ruckus (which was ALL of us at some point). Shaner 1 & 2, I can't do a thing to force you to do it, but I ask you to keep your personal attacks or rumor spreading/claiming to yourselves or in a private message and stop further disintegrating the reputation of this message board and fans of B&LE by spewing it for all to see. Keep the constructive posts coming, but leave the personal stuff on the spam track.
