There is room and purpose for both boards. This board works great for train spotting and short posts back and forth. It is immediate and says what is happening now. But it does not save history. Much of past topics are gone forever. The ProBoard saves the history of the Bessemer that is discussed here and there (assuming that someone transfers it from here to there), when it may never be saved anywhere else. Someday when CN finally takes over the Bess, and someone decides to write about the history of the Bessemer, the info will be there for their research.
Just a thought from out on a limb.
Jon, good job!
