Negative on the BLE hoppers. Mostly old leaser cars, ex UP and other western roads. I did see 15-20 ex RBMN 3 bay hoppers a few months back. These are the ones with the blue or red ends. I know a lot of the old 3 bay PPLX cars have spent the past few years in storage, Id say your right about them being phased out with the aluminum cars. Also with less demand for eastern coal those cars are worth more in scrap then in service.
