On the way back home from Youngstown this evening, we were on the way up St. Glory Rd. hill from the B&LE Old Line at 7:30 and the flashers came on for the K-O Line. As we arrived at the crossing, southbound 907-905-902 ground past at the top of the grade from Osgood with ore for the hungry furnaces at ET. As I always do, I watched the train for former BiCentennial Hopper #65000. As the end of the train approached the crossing, I commented to my wife that it 'didn't appear that it was going to be in this train'. She looked to her left, smiled and said, "You give up too easy, 'cause there it is!" Indeed, carrying the rear marker was none other than the car in question. This car seems to have been head out or on the rear of a number of trains, over the years. What an odd coincidence...
