In the meantime look for your energy bills to increase as these plants close. Plants are forced to close under the new EPA law, and are going to eventually be replaced. These “Greener” plants are not built yet in many cases so energy companies will be spending hundreds of billions to upgrade or build new plants over the upcoming years. So in the end the cost of going green is like everything passed onto the middle class, also past onto companies that still employ Americans. Now looking at Mexico or China to place a facility looks even better, they do not have pay the extra cost of regulations.
