Meadville NS crew base for those 500-series coal trains was abolished in January. They will not be coming 'back', as the dirty, ol', stinky, coal-fired power plant destinations to which they regularly delivered fuel are being closed, to be replaced with nice, new, clean, modern facilities that will generate green electric power using...well, anyway, the existing plants have been or are being closed. (Same affliction that dried up the Bessemer's coal traffic to Ontario, Canada via Conneaut, years ago.)
