I have not looked into the specifics of the sale yet, but the BS was sold this year to WATCO a large rail holding company and operator of many regional and short lines. Watco has a very boring black and gold paint scheme and I would be all further repaints will be done in this scheme. As for this unit that looks to be set up for remote opps I would guess this is a part of the BS that US Steel is going to hold onto for the inter plant works much like they spun off the Gary Railway when the J was sold to CN. Doing this controls the rates and operations of the interplant railway.
