I took a photo on March 16 2010 of 25 working at the class yards-it was very dirty in fact I couldnt even read the name. But your right the Bessemer was an innovate- the F7 tubes, electric standby heaters and even the bug deflector on 867-I guess the relocated sand fill hatch was a BLE innovation-never noticed anyone else doing that. Conrail did it to the rear of their SD60Ms and SD60Is but that wasnt until the 90s-BLE had been doing that on front and rear of their power since before CR even existed. Speaking of CR I guess everyone has seen the new NS heritage unit?
