I fail to see the connection to the current regulations passed by the EPA and the in-direct result in lost jobs as well as the direct result in increased cost of energy to the consumer, as the Bessemers decision was based on operation cost and continuing to improve the railroad. Operation cost’s have already been adversely affected by EPA regulation. Glenn you may be in a financial situation where a 5-10% increase in electric costs will not affect you but many citizens as well as companies that are faced daily with the decision to move operations overseas will have a even harder decision to make as the ever continues increase in regulation at home well no such regulation face foreign competition.
So what is the answer? Well I truly don’t know, if I did I would be making billions of dollars somewhere.
