Thanks for the info on the GEs everyone. I know about the P&LE strike. They did have a 4 unit set with caboose and hoppers stored at XB in 1988 i believe. My dad who worked for the Union RR for 32 years remembered that train sittin there. There is a tape i have from Cadwallader Productions called "Trains Around Pittsburgh" and in it they showed the P&LE train. The power was 2038 1546(?) 2057 and another non db GP38 with caboose 518? There were PLE hoppers with them as well. That tape also had BLE and URR stuff in it-2 BLE SD9s at Oakmont another at Butler and 5 URR MP15s getting underway out of Hall with a SB train. On the rear was one of their then patched out ex BLE cabs i believe the number was C-101 104 or 105 cant tell exactly.
