I have a few poloroids from Mr. Nate that he gave me probably 25 or 30 years ago. I think there was a slide sold on eBay in the past year or so showing one at the fuel dock at Albion.
I was told that they were only on the property for 3 days or so. I was also told they had a number of problems and the Bessemer told GE to get them the F___ off the property. I don't know if that is or was the true case though.
The pics I have show the two GEs with two DL600b Alcos at the Saxonburg Sinter Plant yard.
Really no reason to have GE and EMDson the roster ...just more diversity in parts and maintenance with that mix. I feel the Bessemer made the right choice in going to all EMD by 73..
