Midday, yesterday, Jon texted me a cell photo he snapped of this veteran hopper as it headed up The Hog Back behind #867 & Co. Though she's no longer wearing her patriotic dress, she's still doing her bit to contribute to the Gross Domestic Product...behind a Bessemer engine that is four years older than she!

While the sun was not cooperative for shooting bright photos along the B&LE during Fall Peak, this weekend, I bet the colors in the pics Jon and his southbound chase buddies got will still be quite vivid, as they often are beneath overcast skies.
