that was already the case when she became his legal daughter. She is entitled to 1/8th of his estate if he dies before Paola.I really don't know anything about Albert's personal wealth. Much of Leopold II's estate went into the gift to the Belgian nation and im not convinced the family is particularly wealthy. Leopold III had 6 children to provide for and 2 of them had ordinary paid careers and the third is not very well off. Boudewijn left a lot to several of his favourite charities and the Catholic Church. Albert has always had his state income but until he got to the throne his children did not have their own income. He lives in Belvedere and Chateau Fenffe both part of the gift of Leopold II so only his summer residence is in private possession. He also has the option of transferring quite a lot of his assets before he dies. Im not sure what his inheritance will be, i would not rule out Delphine and possibly Laurent starting another court case but that is another matter. Previous Message Does the court's ruling make Delphine a co-heiress to her biological father's fortune? Previous Message According to posts on other boards, Delphine did not start her unfortunate actions until after she had fallen out with her mothers husband - an extremely rich man who had recognised her as his daughter. M. Boλl disinherited her, so with one money pot no longer In prospect she went after another. At the time she was said to be in financial difficulties.
