By contrast, their Luxembourg cousins certainly had it nice during World War II -- living in relative ease, comfort, and luxury in exile. Yet, at the same time, they were lauded for their heroism in leading the Nazi-resistance movement from abroad -- their mother even becoming a legend for broadcasting inspirational messages via radio. In partial fairness to them, they probably had no choice: as with the Dutch royal family, it was either flee or surrender to the invading Germans.
