...of a question I have wanted to ask. All Grand Dukes of Luxembourg from Adolphe and forward have been styled HRH. Other members of the GD family were Grandducal Highnesses before Charlotte married a Prince of Bourbon-Parma, and younger members of the family are now HRH.
But my question is: Were the three first Grand Dukes (Guillaume I, II and III) HM when in Luxembourg, or were they HRH the Grand Duke?
