: Will the newborn Prince be styled HRH? If
: I'm
: not mistaken, the Grand Duke used to be an
: HRH, whilst other members of the Grandducal
: House were Grandducal Highnesses, but this
: changed when Grand Duchess Charlotte married
: a Prince of Bourbon-Parma. Their descendants
: in the male line are all HRH. Correct?
:
: Indeed but only the issue of the Grand Duke
: and the Hereditary Grand Duke are Princes or
: Princesses of Luxembourg; the others are
: Princes or Princesses of Nassau.
:
Would they follow the dutch example, meaning that if Guillaume and Stephanie finally have issue , when they will succeed GD Henri, Felix and his offspring (and his siblings) would be relegated to Princes of Nassau, as they are no longer needed for the succession ?
: If I'm correct, I have question. The
: Hereditary Grand Duke has not yet produced
: an heir. If, in the future, his niece Amalia
: would become Grand Duchess, would her
: descendants be Grandducal Highnesses (if she
: doesn't marry an HRH Prince of course.)
:
: Amalia's newborn brother would precede her
: surely or has Luxembourg recently adopted
: absolute primogeniture? However, I would
: imagine that as sovereign Amalia could grant
: her issue the HRH if she so wished.
