this specific word is widely used in all of south america,but it is Mexico,of all places,where it is seen as rude,
only there,nowhere else.
The correct word for "tide" should have been "corriente",instead of chingada.
According to the Mexican ambassador to The Netherlands,Jorge Tonda,no-one thinks much of the minor error,at all,contrary,the Mexicans appreaciate the Prince trying to express himself in the local lingo,as hja in his beloved
blog explains.So,why should we.Exactly.
Mexico has quite a few heavy duty worries at present,this just caused a chuckle.I will use corriente when meaning something different instead in future....
