I'm surprised by the activities the Duke of Parma still seems to undertake.
On the agenda I see that last month there was a Holy Mass at the Santa Maria della Steccata in Parma, in the presence of the Duke and the ducal family.
There was a cocktail party at the Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati in Parma.
In the Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza, the Duke held a reception and conferred Orders of Merit in the Order of St Ludovic.
There was another Holy Mass, now in the Basilica di Santa Maria di Campagna in Piacenza.
A Ducal Ball was held in the Castle of Rivalta (near Piacenza).
The revenues of the Ducal Ball are for the Oncology Ward of the Piacenza Hospital.
And now a private audience with the Holy Father.
I had not expected the Duke and the ducal family having such a schedule.
