Henri every time the Prince of Orange or his wife get negative media attention because they and their advisors forget to think of their special position and how their actions are thought of by the Dutch public this theory gets closer to becoming a reality.
For a young man you still think that Dutch politics never change. Newsflash for you: it has changed before and since the murder of Fortuijn it's even changing faster. Old political practice doesn't go down well with large groups of voters. You never know what the next coalition is going to be and they just might end up changing the constitution in a matter of months rather than years. If a majority in both parliaments agrees to change the role of the monarch there is nothing the queen can do about it.
