I speciafically said that the monarch does not pay taxes and I specifically said that the HEIR of the Queen (meaning in the constitutional frame aka the future King) does not have to pay succession rights. READ Henri, READ.
As for social security...the prince does receive Kinderbijslag for his three daughters. This is a part of social security. He also gets free health insurance for his three daughters and believe me, the government pays for this (the government pays for this in a way that they reimburse the insurance companies for it...they do that for all children who are by law insured 'for free').
Furthermore, the Queen receives a government pension that all Dutch people who have reached the age of 65 get. That she donates the money to charity, as said by the RVD, does not change the fact that she does receive a pension.
As for your remark about the payment of the specialists being almost the same as the payment of the Queen, come one Henri...even you must realise that this remark is waaaaaayyyy of base.
A specialist is paid because of the work he does and his wages are the result of 'supply and demand'.
I don't know about you, but I am not able to perform and open hart surgery, a brain surgery or even remove a tumor out of a breast or prostate. These surgeons have spend years studying: first at least 4 years of university, then 3 years as resident in a university hospital, then they can call themselves doctor work for at least two years as a general doctor in a hospital and after that have to start their specialisation (heart surgeon, urologist, OB/GYN, pediatrician, general practitioner etc). Only after their specialisation that can take them 10 years for the most difficult fields of expertise (like brain surgery) they will make the amount that you mention. That means that only after 15 to 19 years of training they get around 250K a year (and not ten times the wages of the PM, according to the Dutch Ministry of Health the average wages of specialists (and I am not talking about GP's) is 280K, which is 4 times the wages of Balkenende.
And this is still a looooooong way from what the Prince of Oranje makes. And he got this from the age of 18 without any special education. There are hundreds if noth thousands of men or women of his age who can do his job with the same results or even better.
Really Henri...don't sell the Dutch doctors short, one day your life may depend on their knowledge and expertise, their long hours and their commitment.

: Your post is not entirely correct. All Oranges
: do pay taxes with three notable excemptions:
:
: - the allowances given to the Queen, the
: Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima are
: netto
:
: - the inheritances to the present and the
: future Sovereign are free of succession
: taxes
:
: - Gifts to the present and the future
: Sovereign are free of taxation
: ('schenkingsrecht')
:
: To begin with the last two: this is
: explicitly done because the inheritance to
: the (future) Sovereign also holds valuables
: which are of importance for the royal
: function. For an example the inventory of
: royal palaces, the archives, the carriages,
: the jewels. Since Queen Juliana has placed
: the bulk of the valuables in Foundations,
: the importance of these two exceptions have
: decreased. Indeed the Government can decide
: to scrap these.
:
: That the incomes for the Queen, the Prince
: of Orange and Princess Máxima are netto (no
: income tax and no social security premies)
: are pretty logical and is in fact also done
: to people who receive social benefits
: ('bijstand'): they receive the netto amound.
: On their benefits slip they can see that
: from the bruto money there were reservations
: for vacation money, social security, etc.
:
: Since the Queen and the Prince and Princess
: will never ask for social security and do
: not have a pension it is logical that the
: amount is netto. But if it is better for
: publicity to have this amount as bruto,
: well, no problem.
:
: For the rest it does not matter if the
: source of the fortune partly has been made
: up from taxpayer's money. Otherwise all
: these medical specialists making 10 times
: the salary of a minister and purchasing
: holiday estates in the Dordogne or in
: Tuscany are also doing it "from our
: taxpayer's money". No difference in
: that.
