Your guess is as worth as mine. Last Sunday the former society-journalist 'Stan Huijgens' (Thomas Lepeltak) was extremely critical on Princess Máxima.
He claims that he is informed about his sources that Princess Máxima is the real boss behind the screens and that she, so now and then, has made clear that lots of things will change in the Court Organization "when I'm is the boss".
Thomas Lepeltak claims that Princess Máxima was raised in a family and a country with a giga-gap between the rich and the poor and also in a family with no democratic tradition. He claims that it is the Princess who has no any understanding for the feelings about the Machangulo Project. In her native homeland Argentina this would have been selbstverständlich for families in this position.
So Thomas Lepeltak portrays the Princess as the driving force behind the Machangulo Project. And added to this that the Prince has the legendary stubborness which is so typical for the Oranges. But all Oranges were, last but not least, open for common sense. The Princess seems a difficult factor in this.
But fact remains that in essence the couple has the right to purchase a family home and that they do nothing against the rules and that the Cabinet saw no grounds to block their plans. This means that in essence there is a mismatch to the own conviction of the princely couple and that of a 'feeling' in society.
