Perhaps I should have limited/restricted my general question to royal-commoner marriages in the sense of commoner = non-noble/non-gentry/not belonging to a peer of the realm family.
I guess that the odd ladies in waiting whom a royal married was mostly of noble blood/peer of the realm families too.
Of we had a princess marrying her carriagedriver too...
