The Peter Stuyvesant Ball, annual black tie event, named after the last Dutch governor of New Amsterdam, the New Netherlands, honors and celebrates the role that New York City's Dutch community has played for 400 years.
Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, patrons of the NAF, have been invited to attend, as have the Dutch and U.S. Ambassadors.
However, not only HRH Princess Margriet and her husband will attend this year...all 4 sons and their spouses will come along as well!!
So anyone living in New York and wanting to have a real royal day, please, remember to put this day: November 20, 2009 in your agenda and enjoy watching half of the Dutch Royal Family life !!
