The situation is exceptional. But the economic crisis is exceptional too. The worst economic crisis since WWII, we hear all the time.
Then in the meantime purchasing a luxury villa on a secluded resort on a nature reserve in far-away Mozambique is, to put it mildly, not the smartest thing to do.
There is not much the Premier can be blamed for, as JH thinks. It were the Oranges themselves handing over the ammunition for their criticasters.
The continue worldwide globetrotting 'for the good causes' causes irritation. There comes a healthy overweight blonde dazzling rich Prince in the slums of Caïro or São Paulo, telling people that a sewage system is necessary. There comes a blonde Argentinean rich bimbo, dressed in Natan, urging financials to grant micro-credits.
I'm sorry. The Prince should focus on 'home' and the Princess maybe should not get an allowance anymore and simply focus on raising the children, play the perfect (house)wife, managing the giant Household and the various Orange-Nassau foundations and be a centrepoint, for an example for the 'home front' of military on peacekeeping or -enforcing missions and a couple of pet topics as charities.
The way they have organized their agenda's may be impressive for their networks but the people in Alkmaar or Eindhoven could not care less what their Princess is doing in Accra, Ghana or in Abu Dhabi or telling a nice fairytale in Davos. It is so far from their beds.
They need a re-think on their activities.
