In several Dutch media I read/heard that Prince Bernhard van Oranje-Nassau, van Vollenhoven is accused of regulat unsportsmanlike, reckless behaviour as a racing driver.
This weekend the prince was officially suspended (geschorst) for racing temporarily for causing a crash at a racing circuit. One female racing driver crashed because of some manoeuvres the prince made. The woman survived the crash. Thank God. The prince offered his help. (Ok, but it was still his fault.)
Sources in racing circuit circles say that the prince is known for his reckless racing behaviour. 12 (!) incidents have been counted so far. And we know about several crashes.
Time for action here too?
In the meantime... political parties discuss the unchanged privilege of the prince of Orange and his wife to enjoy free private flights... (apart from the Queen). MPs want this privilege limited to the King/Queen only.
My, o my...
