The Oranges are forgetting they they are actually scions of the family Nassau-Dietz (well, Wilhelmina was the last one in the female line).
That Laurentien uses 'Van Oranje'... allez
But that Maurits, Bernhard, Pieter-Christiaan and Floris van Vollenhoven uses this...
They are all Van Vollenhovens and that idiot Royal Decree bestowing them the personal and non-hereditary title 'prins van Oranje-Nassau' is to be placed before the surname.
This wording means that their surname is Van Vollenhoven, as theur offspring proves (with that strange exception for Maurits' offspring).
The second version 'prinses Laurentien' was the most correct. And Laurentien is no Princess and only uses her spouses titles. The most correct is 'Laurentien van Amsberg'.
